If you have ever missed a payment to a credit card, loan, been made bankrupt, have County Court Judgements (CCJs), have mortgage arrears, or have refused to pay charges in certain circumstances, your credit history may be affected. A CCJ is where an individual has to go to court to settle an outstanding payment on a debt. Once the ruling has been issues, it will remain on your credit history typically for seven years. It is usual for lenders to ensure that any CCJs are settled before a loan or mortgage can be issued, but we have arrange of lenders who will take personal circumstances into consideration and specialise in such cases.
Every time you apply for a loan or mortgage, this can affect your credit rating. If you apply on line, these applications are registered too.
